We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chris Rauch as the new Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, based on the decision of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, and the UAQU Board of Trustees. We look forward to seeing the university continue to grow and thrive under his leadership.

Dear UAQU Family,

I am deeply honored to have been appointed as UAQU Chancellor by The Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud al Mualla and the entire UAQU Board of Trustees. I am looking forward to fulfilling my role with great passion, motivation and humility, and I am more than excited to go on this venture with you all.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to my predecessor, Dr. Galal Hatem, and salute him for the many achievements he accomplished during his tenure. He truly elevated UAQU to new heights, and I will strive to keep building the university in his spirit.

I am wishing all our students, faculty, staff, and partners an insightful academic year ahead! I cannot wait to work with and for you all, and embark on this journey to enrich and grow the inspiring academic environment that is UAQU.
