Biography

 


Mr. Maan Youssof Al Saati is a lecturer at the College of Arts and Science at Umm Al Quwain University. He teaches several subjects including, Psychology in Everyday Life, Human Behavior and Socialization, UAE Society, Composition and Modern English I, Composition and Modern English II, English I, English II, Translation, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Maan joined the University in 2016 as the Head of General Education Department, where he played a vital role in developing the department’s curricula and study plans to align them with the requirements of the Ministry of Education. Al Saati carried out other tasks, including his effective contribution in establishing the Continuing Education Center, and the International Examinations Center for TOEFL and IELTS, making Umm Al Quwain University the only center in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. He also worked as an administrator and a supervisor of EmSAT tests at the University.

Mr. Al Saati is very active and widely recognized for his pioneering work in the field of community service and engagement. He has made distinguished effort in deepening the concept of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship at the University and in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain through providing many seminars, lectures and workshops, to the local institutions, on the importance of creativity and innovation in carrying out tasks.

Prior to joining UAQU, Mr. Maan Al Saati worked as a lecturer, Head of General Education Department, and Manager of the Languages Center for more than 8 years at Al Khwarizmi International College Abu Dhabi & Al Ain.
