Umm al-Quwain University organized a virtual freshers’ day for the first semester 20/21 students. The university is being used to celebrate new students at the beginning of each semester, to welcome its students and introduce them to their study system, policies and procedures, regulations, services, in addition to the academic and administration members.
Dr. Galal Hatem, president of Umm Al Quwain University, in his speech, welcomed new students, stressing the efforts made by the university within the framework of its academic mission to graduate well-qualified cadres. He urged students to take advantage of time in searching and obtaining useful knowledge, which contributes in achieving their scientific ambitions, and enhancing their educational capabilities for their study personal benefit to be able cope challenges in the labor market.
Dr. Hatem, added that, it has been decided that, by the mid-year 20//21 the university is expected to move to the new campus which accommodates all academic aspirations of the students, and classroom and extracurricular activities. He confirmed that the second phase of the new campus construction is at its end. The university president urged the students to study hard, and excel to succeed in their academic career.
