Biography
Dr. Ahd M. M AbuDraz is an assistant professor get PhD in Mass Communication, Ain Shams University, specializing in Communication and Media Sciences.
Research interests focus on communication and media sciences, digital media, public relations, and digital journalism. The professional mission is to contribute to improving the quality of academic education in accordance with the highest international, regional, and local standards, as well as to develop scientific research in the fields of communication sciences, digital media, and public relations.
Dr. Ahd M. M Abu Draz has extensive academic experience. He joined Umm Al Quwain University in 2019, when the university was a college. He also served as an assistant professor in the Department of Mass Communication at Al Ghurair University in Dubai in 2020. He has authored two books in the field of media: Introduction to New Media and Introduction to Digital Journalism.
He co-founded the Communication and Crisis Program at the College of Mass Communication at Umm Al Quwain University, the first of its kind among universities in the Arab world and the Middle East. This program received accreditation from the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates in September 2023.
Member of the team that obtained international accreditation from AQAS for the College of Mass Communication at Umm Al Quwain University for six years (2021-2024). Furthermore, member of the team that obtained final accreditation for the Mass Communication programs (Journalism and New Media, Public Relations) from the Commission for Academic Accreditation from 2019 to date.
An active member in publishing scientific research in prestigious fields, including fields classified in the Scopus database and international peer-reviewed scientific fields. The number of published research and studies has reached eleven.
