Academic Excellence Awards
At Umm Al Quwain University, we celebrate academic excellence by recognizing students through the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List awards. These distinctions honor the highest levels of academic achievement each semester and reflect the university’s commitment to recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional performance, fostering a culture of excellence and motivation within our academic community.
Dean’s List Criteria
The Dean’s List award is granted to students who meet the following criteria:
-
A semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
-
Enrollment in at least four courses during the semester.
Recognized students will receive a certificate of appreciation in an official ceremony organized by the university at the beginning of the new semester.
Chancellor’s List Criteria
Among the students recognized on the Dean’s List, the top three students from each college, based on their GPA, will be selected for the Chancellor’s List award. This is the highest academic distinction granted to outstanding students in each college.
