Short biography
Dr. Ahmed Sakr Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Umm Al-Quwain, and the Coordinator of the Sociology Program at the College of Arts and Sciences since 2022. Before that, he was a Sociology lecturer at the College of Arts and earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from Minya University, Egypt, in 2017. He progressed through the academic ranks, reaching the position of Assistant Professor in 2017. He has numerous publications in various scientific fields, published in several Egyptian and Emirati journals since 2019, such as "Modern Trends in Development:
Participatory Planning as a Model." He has received several research awards in different research topics, including development issues, planning, youth, and small projects since 2016.
He has authored many research papers published in specialized scientific journals from 2019 to 2023, including one titled "The Role of Educational Institutions in Confronting Extremist Groups: A Comparative Sociological Analysis, Perspectives of Knowledge Journal, Issue (5),
2023, Libya.
