Dr. Nashat Mahmoud, a distinguished academic and legal expert from Bahrain, holds a Ph.D. in Commercial Arbitration and boasts over 15 years of comprehensive experience in academia, research management, and professional practice across diverse national and international platforms. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the College of Law at Umm Al Quwain University, UAE, he has established himself as a leading authority in commercial arbitration and corporate law.
Dr. Nashat is an accredited arbitrator with the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre and a certified mediator with the Bahrain Chamber for Commercial Disputes. His prolific academic contributions include over 30 research papers published in peer-reviewed journals and the authorship of three notable books that focus on commercial arbitration and corporate governance. His research addresses critical issues in alternative dispute resolution, corporate legal structures, and cross-border commercial transactions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nashat has held pivotal roles such as Head of the Law Department and Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Studies.
