  • Professor Fouad Al-Shoaibi is a Professor of Civil Law and a faculty member at the College of Law at Umm Al Quwain University, where he plays an active role in teaching, legal research, and academic supervision since joining the university. He possesses extensive academic and professional experience in the field of civil law, gained through a distinguished academic career. Professor Al-Shoaibi earned his Ph.D. in Civil Law from Cairo University in 2012, with a dissertation entitled “The Legal Regulation of Telecommunications and Electronic Information Service Contracts.” He had previously completed his Master’s degree in Civil Law at the Dubai Police Academy in 2007, following a Postgraduate Diploma in Private Law in 2005, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2004 from the same academy, where he graduated top of his class with honors. He was later awarded the rank of Professor (Full Professorship) in Civil Law from the University of Madinah in Ajman in 2022, which is the highest academic rank in the university faculty.

    Professor Al-Shoaibi is well known for his prolific academic contributions, having supervised and participated in the examination of more than one hundred master’s and doctoral theses at universities inside and outside the United Arab Emirates. His published works include authoring a five-volume legal encyclopedia on electronic civil liability under UAE legislation, in addition to a number of academic books adopted as university textbooks. He regularly participates in legal conferences and forums both locally and internationally and serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals. He was also awarded the Best Employee Award at the level of Dubai Police and the Ministry of Interior, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions.

    Professor Fouad Al-Shoaibi holds the highest academic degree, which is the rank of Professor (Full Professorship) in Civil Law, awarded to him by the University of Madinah in Ajman in 2022.
