In the presence of His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Umm Al Quwain University, the university organized the annual group Iftar for the academic and administrative members in addition to a number of officials and employees of government departments in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.  That was in order to reflect the university’s role towards its social responsibility, which considers maintaining its employees an integral part of this responsibility.

During the ceremony, the team of the “Break Fasting” initiative which was launched by the Emirates Red Crescent were honoured, as well as the faculty members, staff and students who participated in the month of reading.
