Umm Al Quwain University and the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain Government signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim to strengthen cooperation framework, develop the relationship between the two parties in the areas of scientific qualification and provide training and applied programs between the Executive Council and the university to upgrade the skills of the employees of Umm Al Quwain Government, and for the interest of the two parties.

 Dr. Galal Hatem, Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, stressed the university’s work to support, promote and implement a strategic partnership aimed to enhance the knowledge scope of the Umm Al Quwain government employees. His Excellency pointed out the University ability to take key roles in human resource development. Dr. Hatem called on those concerned at the university, the administrative and teaching bodies to harness all resources and assign training programs in line with the developments in the local and global labor markets.

  The memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Galal Hatem, chancllor of the University, while His Excellency Mohammad Sorour Al-Naqbi, Acting Executive Council, represented the Council.

  It should be noted that the memorandum of understanding granted Executive Council employees scholarships up to 50% to study in the academic programs offered at Umm Al Quwain University, and discount of 25% for training courses organized by the University's Continuing Education Center.
