Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Umm Al Quwain University, witnessed UAQU graduation ceremony, the Sustainability Year Batch, which was held on the evening of Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the university campus.
His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla stressed that Umm Al Quwain University is one of the most important academic institutions in the country and always strives for excellence and effective presence in all occasions. He added that it is a very active university whether in terms of adopting new specializations and modern curricula, or through the continuous modernization of the university’s educational environment, which led to attracting distinguished faculty members known for their competence.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, expressed his congratulations to the graduates and their families for their blessed harvest, which is the result of the efforts made over years of academic study and educational attainment to achieve distinction, excellence, and launch towards various fields of work and giving in all arenas, appreciating the efforts of the members of the University’s Board of Trustees, administration and the teaching staff. To the university who worked sincerely to achieve scientific and academic success and a prestigious position within a short period of time.
His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla also congratulated the graduates’ parents, stressing that these successive batches of graduates of Umm Al Quwain University create the real balance and inexhaustible wealth of our beloved country.
The graduation ceremony started with the arrival of His Highness, the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, where UAE national anthem was played. His Highness was received by Prof. Galal Hatem, the University Chancellor, the university's administrative and academic staff, and a number of officials.
The name of this batch was allied with the Year of Sustainability, in honor of the generous initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
