Umm Al Quwain University Wins the Third Place in UAE Hackathon

Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority announced the names of the winners in UAE Hackathon 2023 in its sixth edition in the seven emirates of the country on the sidelines of the Month of Innovation activities, which is yearly held in February.

This was during the closing ceremony of the sixth edition of UAE Hackathon, which was held at the Higher Colleges of Technology - Dubai, in the presence of Eng. Majid Sultan Al Mismar, Director General of the Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, representatives of a number of participating government agencies, in addition to the Authority's partners from the private sector, and the competitors.

"Asafa Team " from Umm Al Quwain University, won the third place in UAE Hackathon in the universities track. The team was represented by Nasser Hassan Al Shehhi and Salem Mohammed Al Mahri, and was supervised by Dr. Suzan Shaheen and Mr. Maan Al Saati.

The honouring Ceremony was attended by Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chncellor for Academic Affairs.
