As part of constructive interaction between academic institutions, society and the labour market, the Advisory Council at the College of Mass Communication at Umm Al Quwain University held its quarterly meeting for the academic year 2023-2024. The Council was represented at this meeting by a distinguished group of leading figures in the field of media, communication and crises.

The meeting discussed many important topics, including achieving integration between the university and society, and contributing to the implementation and development of the college’s strategic plan.
Proposals were also reviewed about completing international accreditation for the college in cooperation with AQAS. Submitting proposals related to opening a master’s program in digital media, with the aim of raising the level of education and meeting the labour market needs
