In a pioneering step towards enhancing innovation skills and future foresight, Umm Al Quwain University organized a dialogue session entitled Innovation and future foresight during the Authority’s Innovation Week. The dialogue session was moderated by Colonel Ahmed bin Ali bin Youssef, Director of Identity and Citizenship Department, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammad Al-Kashf, Member of the National Council in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and a number of UAQU students. This step comes as part of ongoing efforts to develop social and educational services provided to the public and students and enable them to improve their skills in innovation and future foresight. Many skills were discussed, the most important of which is brainstorming and putting forward new ideas, which helps in innovation and future foresight. The dialogue session had positive effects, and it is expected to achieve positive results that enhance the outcomes of developing future ideas.
