Aiming to enhance academic cooperation and develop educational resources, UAQU Library signed a partnership agreement with Institute of Management Technology- Dubai. This event took place on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in the presence of Dr. Ali Abbas, the Library Manager at Umm Al Quwain University, and Dr. Alangovan Alagumalai, Director of the Library of Institute of Management Technology Dubai.

This agreement aims to increase the utilization and investment in digital learning resources in the fields of public administration and business management. It includes the exchange of visits and expertise in library and information resources management, as well as the implementation of reciprocal workshops between the two libraries, benefiting students and faculty members at both institutions.

Dr. Ali Abbas, Manager of Umm Al-Quwain University Library, emphasized that the library is committed to providing a distinguished diversity in all digital and printed learning resources. He added that such agreements support the library's role in offering varied and diverse resources available through the entities signing these agreements.

Dr. Alangovan Alagumalai highlighted the importance of academic partnerships in enhancing education and scientific research. He stated, "We are excited to collaborate with Umm Al-Quwain University Library to achieve our shared goals of providing the best educational resources and services. This agreement will facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two libraries, thereby enhancing the quality of education and learning at both institutions.
