Umm Al Quwain Creative Hub "Falaj Al Mualla" and Umm Al Quwain University Celebrate Gulf Youth Day.

Umm Al Quwain Creative Hub "Falaj Al Mualla," affiliated with Authority Federal Youth, in collaboration with Umm Al Quwain University and Umm Al Quwain Youth Council, organized "Our Gulf, Our Youth" forum to celebrate Gulf Youth Day, which was held under the theme "Active and Responsible Gulf Youth."

The forum was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al Kashf, Member of the Federal National Council, Mr. Aref Hassan Al Khadr, Director of UAQ Red Crescent Center, officials and representatives of government departments in the emirate, faculty and administrative members from Umm Al Quwain University and the University of Sharjah, as well as young people from university students and government employees.

The event began with a visual presentation highlighting the role of leadership in youth empowerment by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The first session was a panel discussion moderated by His Excellency Mohammed Al Kashf, Head of Umm Al Quwain University Alumni Association, who emphasized the UAE’s commitment to youth as a fundamental pillar for development and future aspirations, appreciating the substantial support from the wise leadership for youth empowerment across all fields.

During the session, Maryam Al Ghafli, Director of Umm Al Quwain Creative Hub - Falaj Al Mualla-introduced Gulf Youth Day and its significance, objectives, and the participating academics highlighted the role of universities in motivating youth, providing scientific and academic support, honing their talents, and showcasing their abilities and innovations in various fields.

Mr. Aref Al Khadr affirmed that the UAE leadership spares no effort or support in empowering youth and preparing them for the future to serve the nation and community. Young people from the university and government representatives shared their experiences, challenges, and significant achievements as students and employees. Umm Al Quwain Youth Council organized an art exhibition for young people and an interactive workshop featuring Emirati talents. Meera Al Muhairi, Director of Kofaa Training Services Center, conducted a flower arrangement workshop using Emirati local plants. Young People from the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in showcasing their heritage, hospitality traditions, and the role of youth in preserving the Gulf's cultural heritage.
