Monday, June 24, 2024, Health and Safety Department at Umm Al Quwain University, in cooperation with UAQ Civil Defence, organized a training session on how to use fire extinguishers. The lecture was presented by First warrant officer Manaa Obaid bin Arran, and attended by a group of the university employees.

This initiative aims to enhance awareness of the importance of safety and how to deal with small fires using extinguishers. The lecture topics dealt with fires types and methods of extinguishing them.

The university employees expressed their appreciation for the efforts made in organizing this type of important awareness lectures that contribute to enhancing the culture of security and safety in the university environment.
