Umm Al Quwain University Celebrates the Second Phase Completion of Digital Transformation.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Umm Al Quwain University, Umm Al Quwain University celebrated the second phase completion of the digital transformation project, in a special ceremony held on the university campus, in the presence of the members of the Board of Trustees, the University Chancellor, Prof. Galal Hatem, and members of the university's teaching and administrative staff, in addition to a number of some community figures.

The ceremony began with an opening speech by Prof. Galal Hatem, who reviewed the university's digital transformation strategy, stressing that this strategy comes within the framework of the university's ambitious vision to develop educational, research and administrative services, in line with global technological developments. He also pointed out that the main goal of this project is to improve the experience of students and faculty and administrative staff, through the implementation of smart systems that contribute to enhancing academic and administrative performance.

For his part, Mr. Saeed Zidane, CEO of ULTIMIT, spoke on behalf of the companies implementing the project, ULTIMIT, Menaitech and Human Logic. Zidane gave a detailed presentation on the modern technology that was applied during the second phase of the project, explaining how these solutions will contribute to achieving a qualitative leap in managing academic and administrative operations at the university. He also reviewed the roadmap plan for the next phases of the project, which aims to enhance the use of technology in all aspects of the university’s work, and make it a model to be emulated in the field of modern and contemporary education.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Galal Hatem thanked all parties involved in implementing the project, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to complete all the project phases successfully. He pointed out that Umm Al Quwain University seeks to grow to the level of prestigious international universities through applying the latest technologies in all academic, research, administrative and financial operations.

The ceremony concluded with a tour of the university’s facilities to view the new systems and technologies that were applied, with great praise from the attendees for the advanced level that the university has reached in the digital transformation process.
