To Celebrate the “Emirati Womens Day” , Umm Al Quwain University Organizes "Al Sinafia" Forum.

Umm Al Quwain University celebrated the “Emirati Women's Day”, organizing "AlSinafia" Forum, "We Collaborate for Tomorrow", under the sponsorship of UAQ Business Women Council, represented by Her Excellency Aisha Rashid Laytim, Member of the Federal National Council and President of UAQ Business Women Council, and participation of UAQ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by Sheikha Bodour bint Abdullah Al Mualla, Advisor of the Chamber’s  Director, and Women Association of Umm Al Quwain, represented by the Director of the Association, Her Excellency Aisha Saeed Al Talay.

The forum, which was organized by the Continuing Education Center at Umm Al Quwain University, in cooperation with "Positive Mind Training Center ", highlighted the pioneering role of Emirati women in sustainable development.

The forum was attended and participated by His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al Kashf, Member of the Federal National Council, and Her Excellency Mona Rashid Tahnoon, Member of the Federal National Council and Member of the Women Association of Umm Al Quwain, in addition to other officials and representatives of government and private institutions.

The forum was presented and moderated by Media Advisor Mariam Al Hammadi. It started with a welcome speech by Dr. Hany Bakr, The University Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, who said that Emirati women are one of the main pillars in the UAE’s development process. Dr. Omnia Salem, Manager of the Continuing Education Center at Umm Al Quwain University, also praised the UAE’s strategy to activate the UAE woman’s role through the positive participation in various aspects of life.

HE. Aisha Laitim expressed her pride in the achievements of Emirati women, due to the great support and attention given to them by the wise leadership, leading to an honorable model at the local and international levels.

The forum included displaying a documentary film that shows the UAE leadership confidence in the Emirati women, and giving them the proper opportunities and support to empower them to contribute to the country’s development process. The forum also included a dialogue session, moderated by HE. Salwa Al Rahma, CEO of the Positive Mind Training Center, with the participation of His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al Kashf and Her Excellency Mona Tahnoon, where the point of UAE women’s contributions to sustainable development was raised and discussed. The session focused on the role of UAE women in leadership and social participation, in addition to discussing their future in achieving the goals of sustainable development.

The forum also included a poetry session by the poet Saud Ali Al-Muzaini. At the end of the events, the visual artist Ali Al-Zuwailef displayed two paintings, " Maker of Men" and " Twinkle of Stars".

At the end of the events, the participants in the forum and work team were honored in appreciation of their valuable contributions to the success of this event.
