Umm Al Quwain University participated in the 13th Edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024), which was launched on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. at Expo Sharjah under the patronage of His Highness  Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and in the presence of the Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council.

Professor Galal Hatem, Advisor of the University's Board of Trustees, participated in a speech about the role of government communication in innovation and solving economic crises, in addition to the importance of government communication in all communication, professional and technical fields.

Prof. Galal Hatem thanked TRENDS Research & Advisory, the strategic partner, for the invitation to the International Government Communication Forum and their participation in this distinguished event. He praised the fruitful cooperation between the center and academic institutions, which enhances the role of scientific research in supporting government communication and innovation.

The students of the College of Mass Communication at Umm Al Quwain University also participated in the International Government Communication Forum attending practical workshops that presented methods and themes for a well-rounded professional life for students who are moving to the practical life in the near future.

The participation of Dr. Galal Hatem in this forum confirms the role of Umm Al Quwain University in contributing to the development of government communication strategies to promote sustainable development at the local and international levels.
