In a telephone interview on the weekly "University Lobby" program broadcast on Al Arabiya FM Radio and presented by Dr. Essam Abdel Salam, Dr. Saad Ramadan, Associate Professor of Law at the College of Law and Legal Consultant at Umm Al Quwain University, praised the university's pioneering experience in linking the theoretical and practical aspects in its law programs.

He said that the university has supported this link through a number of academic and field initiatives that contribute to preparing students in an integrated manner to work in the legal field.

Dr. Ramadan stressed that the most prominent of these initiatives is the legal clinic programs, where students are given the opportunity to work on real cases under the supervision of experienced judges and lawyers, giving them the opportunity to acquire practical skills in a real professional environment. He also spoke about the internship program, which is implemented in two stages: internal training that lasts for 16 weeks as part of the practical courses, and external training that requires completing 120 training hours over 6 weeks in judicial institutions or law firms known for their efficiency. Dr. Ramadan also pointed out that the university pays special attention to enabling students to apply what they had learned theoretically through mock trials and practical workshops, which focus on practical simulation of real cases and trials, which enhances their experience and better qualifies them for the legal labor market. In conclusion, Dr. Ramadan explained that these field experiences not only contribute to enhancing the academic competence of students, but also represent a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, and increase their chances of obtaining jobs in law firms or judicial bodies immediately after graduation.
