The Continuing Education Center at Umm Al Quwain University, in cooperation with UAQ Executive Council, organized a two-day training course, “October 22 and 23”, entitled "Administrative Diplomacy and Professional Etiquette". The course was presented by Ms. Abeer Al-Wakeel, who addressed the basic tools and principles of administrative diplomacy and effective negotiation methods. She also spoke about negotiation strategies and teamwork tools within work environments. The course also included the principles and forms of professional etiquette that must be taken into account within the business environment, with the aim of strengthening professional relationships and improving employee efficiency in the workplace.
Dr. Amani Salem, Manager of UAQU Continuing Education Center, stated that this course comes as part of the framework of behavioral courses that aim to improve work environments through taking into account the art of etiquette, whether in dealing with colleagues or with customers. She added that the aim of these courses is to raise the institutional excellence level, reduce job conflict, improve productivity, and develop job performance, which contributes to creating a more positive and effective work environment.
