A delegation from Umm Al Quwain University, including Sociology Program students and teachers, visited the Sociological Association. They were received by Dr. Mohammed Hamdan bin Jarsh, Board Member and Head of the Cultural Committee.
The visit aimed to enhance cooperation between the university and the association, and exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of social service. Dr. Mohammed bin Jarsh delivered a speech at the beginning of the meeting, where he explained the association’s goals, vision and various programs.
During the meeting, cooperation between the two sides was discussed, and a set of social and cultural research projects that can be implemented in the near future were presented. These projects come within the framework of enhancing the students and researchers’ skills, which contributes to improving their capabilities and enhancing their scientific and professional experiences.
The students expressed their appreciation for this visit, as it gave them a unique opportunity to interact with the association's activities and participate in its future programs, and opened new horizons for them to think and research. For their part, the faculty members expressed their happiness with this visit, pointing out its positive impact in enhancing the skills of students and empowering them to contribute to refining their capabilities and enhancing their cognitive and professional experiences.
