On January 8, Dr. Chris Rauch, Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, inaugurated the Graduation Projects Exhibition of the College of Mass Communication Students Fall 24/25, in the presence of a group of academic and media figures. During the event, the students showcased their creativity and skills in the fields of public relations and new media, amidst widespread praise for the level of innovation and development reflected in their work.
The exhibition was attended by Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Haitham Al Samarrai, Dean of the College of Mass Communication. The graduation projects were evaluated by Dr. Ali Nasser, President of Emirates Public Relations Association and a member of the Advisory Council of the College of Mass Communication, Mr. Mohammad Ghanem, Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Radio, and Mr. Khalid Al Zarai, Head of UAQ Media Office and an Advisory Council member.
Al-Samarrai said that the exhibition represents an important platform in line with the college’s vision in preparing scientifically and practically qualified cadres in line with the needs of the labour market, and it also enhances students’ communication with experts and practitioners in the field of media, which supports their professional future.
The attendees admired the graduation projects level and the new and positive ideas that reflected the students’ use of their academic and applied skills, and they also praised the prominent role of the university in providing a stimulating educational environment that helps prepare a new generation of distinguished media competencies.
