Umm Al Quwain University, in collaboration with Al Bataeh Sports & Cultural Club, organized the Ramadan Table Tennis Championship, which took place on campus in a highly competitive and energetic atmosphere. The preliminary rounds of the championship were held on Tuesday and Wednesday, attended by several prominent academic and sports figures.The championship was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Chris Rouch, His Excellency Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Abdel Ghani Qasem, Dean of the College. The event commenced with the UAE national anthem, marking the official launch of the tournament.
More than 13 faculty members and 28 students from various disciplines participated in the competition. Adding to the excitement, Dr. Saad Ramadan provided live commentary on the matches, enhancing the enthusiasm and engagement of the audience.
