The Internal Education Center in Umm Al Quwain Conducts Its Second Rehabilitation Workshop as Part of the “Change for the Better” Initiative

The Continuing Education Center at Umm Al Quwain University held its second workshop at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution affiliated with the Umm Al Quwain Police on Wednesday, July 2nd. The workshop is part of a program aimed at analyzing and addressing behavioral weaknesses and promoting positive thinking patterns, paving the way for various efforts to reshape behavior and encourage constructive mindsets.

This workshop was conducted under the “Change for the Better” initiative, launched by Dr. Amnia Salem, Director of the Continuing Education Center at Umm Al Quwain University. The initiative reflects the center’s commitment to supporting rehabilitative and developmental efforts in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, particularly concerning individuals within correctional institutions.

Mr. Saif Zayed, Director of the Correctional Institution, expressed his appreciation for the center’s initiative, praising the participants’ positive response to the training content and their active engagement with the carefully designed behavioral activities aimed at reform and character development.

Dr. Amnia Salem emphasized that this initiative represents a model of integration between educational institutions and correctional facilities in achieving rehabilitation and reform goals. She added that the center intends to continue offering interactive workshops in the coming period, supported by detailed analysis and effective evaluations to ensure their success and impact.
