Umm Al Quwain University Explores Strengthening Cooperation with the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A delegation from Umm Al Quwain University visited the headquarters of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where both sides discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation and develop institutional partnerships.

The meeting explored potential collaboration in areas such as practical training for university students, the development of academic initiatives, and the promotion of knowledge exchange. The discussion also covered cooperation in entrepreneurship and supporting entrepreneurs and individuals interested in this vital sector, in a way that contributes to community service and supports the development efforts in the emirate.

The university delegation included Dr. Hani Baker, Vice Chancellor of the University; Dr. Mohammad Oudat, Associate Professor at the College of Business Administration; and Ms. Al Anood Al Dhaheri, Director of the Corporate Communication Department.

They were received by H.E. Ahmed Obaid Al Ali, Director General of the Chamber; Sheikha Bedour bint Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the Communication Office; and Fatima Buasaiba, Director of the Strategy Office.

This meeting comes as part of Umm Al Quwain University’s commitment to building effective strategic partnerships with community institutions and strengthening integration between the academic and economic sectors. It also reflects the university’s efforts to foster an environment that supports innovation and entrepreneurship and to contribute to preparing qualified national cadres that meet the development needs of the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain in particular.
