In a rich educational experience that combined theoretical knowledge with practical expertise, the Master of Arbitration Program at Umm Al Quwain University organized a field visit to Al Tamimi & Company in Dubai.
The visit was part of a specialized workshop delivered by Al Tamimi & Company for the program’s students. Dr. Hassan Arab presented an in-depth academic session addressing the latest practices in arbitration procedures, key practical challenges faced by parties and arbitrators, as well as best practices in drafting arbitration clauses and professionally managing arbitration proceedings.
Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Al Dabbousi, Coordinator of the Master of Arbitration Program, confirmed that this visit aligns with the program’s vision to enable students to engage directly with real professional environments and to enhance their practical skills by becoming familiar with work mechanisms within a leading legal institution such as Al Tamimi & Company.
He further noted that students’ participation in this workshop contributed to broadening their perspectives and deepening their understanding of real-world applications in the field of arbitration, thereby strengthening their future readiness to work in this vital specialization.
