Umm Al Quwain University signed a strategic agreement with the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Chamber’s headquarters, with the aim of strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship and scientific research, particularly in business administration disciplines. The agreement seeks to support innovation and develop national competencies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Hani Abdulrahman Bakr, Vice Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University; Dr. Mohammad Awadat, Dean of the College of Business Administration; and Ms. Al Anoud Al Dhaheri, Director of Corporate Communications.
Representing the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry were His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Ali, Director General of the Chamber, and Her Excellency Aisha Laithim, Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber.
The agreement aims to expand academic and professional collaboration between Umm Al Quwain University and the Chamber through the exchange of expertise, the implementation of joint research initiatives, and the organization of events and training programs that support students and entrepreneurs. It also seeks to align educational outcomes with labor market needs.
