The College of Law at Umm Al Quwain University organized an orientation meeting for newly admitted students for the Spring Semester of the academic year 2025–2026. The meeting was held as part of the College’s commitment to academically preparing students and introducing them to university systems and services, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdelghani Qassem, along with members of the academic and administrative staff.
Dr. Abdelghani Qassem opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, expressing his pleasure at welcoming the students to the College family. He emphasized the importance of studying law in promoting the principles of justice and the rule of law. He also reviewed the study plan and academic regulations, highlighting the University’s pursuit of international accreditation (ACAS) to further enhance the quality of its academic outcomes.
The meeting included an overview of the academic and advisory services and the support available to students, in addition to explaining how to benefit from the university library and legal databases.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion during which faculty members answered students’ questions, in a positive atmosphere reflecting the College’s commitment to supporting its students from day one.
