Umm Al Quwain University organized a sports forum titled “UAE Champions Forum” on February 26, 2026, at Al Rahmaniya Park (Kashisha) in Sharjah, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Wafaa Tharwat and in cooperation with the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). The event was held in celebration of Education Day and in support of the university’s academic and community role.

The forum witnessed wide academic and community participation. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chancellor of the University, and Professor Dr. Haitham Al-Samarrai, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, in the presence of representatives from the Al Rahmaniya and Al Suyoh Neighborhood Councils, along with members of the academic and administrative staff, students, and members of the public.

The forum coincided with the holy month of Ramadan, aiming to strengthen community partnership and promote health awareness and sports culture. The program included a variety of sports and cultural competitions, as well as an exhibition of sports and health products. The event concluded with honoring the winners, sponsors, and supporting entities, amid praise from attendees for the excellent organization and the importance of continuing such initiatives that support quality of life and community service.
