The Master of Criminal Sciences program at the College of Law organized an online lecture on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for students enrolled in the Economic Criminal Law course, titled “Criminal Trials in Economic Crimes (Economic Court)”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Haitham Mohammed Sharif, Legal Advisor at the Federal Tax Authority.
The lecture covered the most prominent and recent judicial applications in the field of tax crimes and the procedures related to their prosecution and trial. It also witnessed active engagement and extensive discussion from students, who raised numerous questions, inquiries, and legal perspectives.
The lecture was attended by Dr. Abdul Ghani Qasim, Dean of the College, and Professor Dr. Imad Ibrahim, course instructor.
