Students from the Cybersecurity Program at Umm Al Quwain University, under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Khalaf, participated in the University of Dubai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, where two university teams qualified for the semi-final round within the student category.
The first team, “DroneX,” consisting of students Omar Mahmoud Al Saeed, Abdullah Naseef Jasim, Ahmed Ramadan Saleh, and Adnan Hameed Majeed, presented a project aimed at developing smart solutions based on modern technologies and drones to deliver innovative applications serving technical and security fields.
The second team, “Hand Whisper,” consisting of students Lama Ali Hassan Al Alami, Maryam Doha Aref, and Buthaina Suleiman Al Shahi, presented a project focused on providing innovative technological solutions to support People of Determination and enhance smart interaction through modern technologies.
The “DroneX” team successfully qualified for the final round, receiving praise from the judging panels and attendees for the presented ideas, level of innovation, and practical application of the participating projects.
