The College of Business Administration at Umm Al Quwain University organized an orientation session for new students. The session was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammad Oudat, faculty members, and representatives from several university support departments.

The session began with a welcoming address by the Dean, who emphasized the University’s commitment to providing an outstanding educational environment that supports students’ success and enhances their academic, personal, and professional development, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.

During the session, students were introduced to the College’s academic programs, university regulations, and available services. The session also highlighted key initiatives and activities designed to enrich their educational experience and encourage active participation in university life.

Faculty members introduced themselves and provided an overview of their academic specializations, courses, and research interests. They also explained how students can communicate with them and benefit from academic guidance and support throughout their studies.

The session was also attended by Dr. Ali Abbas, Library Manager; Mr. Firoze Ekkandy from the IT Department; Ms. Aysha Al Mansoori; and Mr. Ahmed Khamis from the Student Support Services and Alumni Affairs Department. The representatives highlighted the key services provided by their respective departments and their role in supporting students throughout their academic journey.

The orientation session reflects Umm Al Quwain University’s ongoing efforts to familiarize new students with the university environment, facilitate their successful integration into campus life, and provide them with a comprehensive and engaging educational experience.
