Umm Al Quwain University hosted the “Pride and Heritage” Exhibition, organized by the Department of Archaeology and Heritage at the Umm Al Quwain Department of Tourism and Archaeology, represented by the Museums Section and the Heritage Section. The exhibition aimed to showcase historical collections and documents that serve as records of the UAE’s journey, development, and achievements, while reflecting feelings of pride, appreciation, and gratitude for the nation and its accomplishments throughout its history.

The exhibition featured a number of private museum owners and collectors, including Retired Brigadier General Abdullah Bouasiah, Dr. Hani Hosny Zaarab, and Mr. Ahmed Al Hasawi, who showcased a diverse collection of heritage and historical items related to the history of the UAE and its development journey.

The exhibition was attended by Dr. Hani Abdulrahman Bakr, Vice Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, along with members of the academic and administrative staff and university students. It also attracted considerable interest and interaction from attendees, who explored the collections and their national and historical significance.

Hosting the exhibition reflects the University’s commitment to supporting national and cultural initiatives and strengthening students’ connection to the history and national identity of the United Arab Emirates.
