The Quality Assurance Department at Umm Al Quwain University organized a workshop for academic staff titled “Towards Academic Excellence” to introduce quality assurance systems and procedures. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Elseidi, Director of the Quality Assurance Department.

The workshop covered the course file policy and the procedures for reviewing course files through the electronic system, the requirements for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s Higher Education Data (HEDB), the Outcome-Based Education Framework (OBEF), which focuses on measuring learning outcomes, and academic accreditation requirements.

This workshop is part of the Quality Assurance Department’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of quality and raise awareness of its procedures, supporting continuous improvement and contributing to academic and institutional excellence at the university.
