Biography
Dr. Nadeen Selim is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Umm Al Quwain University. Her academic interests lie in the areas of digital media, strategic communication, public relations, and the evolving impact of emerging technologies on media practices and public perception. Her research examines the intersections between emerging technologies, public discourse, and identity representation, with a focus on media practices in the Arab region.
Dr. Selim has published in high-quality, Scopus-indexed journals and contributes regularly to scholarly discourse through conferences and academic collaborations. Her work is recognized for addressing timely and relevant issues in the field, reflecting a commitment to advancing communication research in both regional and international contexts. Dr. Selim has contributed to several high-impact, Scopus-indexed journals, including Frontiers in Human Dynamics, the International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies, and the Emerging Science Journal.
She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Cairo University with first-class honours, as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of Sharjah. Prior to her current role, she held academic and advisory positions at the University of Sharjah, where she was also a recipient of multiple academic awards.
