Umm Al Quwain University and the Umm Al Moumineen Women’s Association in the Emirate of Ajman signed a memorandum of cooperation. On behalf of the university, the memorandum was signed by His Excellency Dr. Galal Hatem, University chancellor, while Ms. Asma Shahdad, Executive Director of the Association, signed on behalf of the second party.

Dr. Hatem confirmed that the memorandum has been signed in conjunction with great days, as the country celebrates UAE National Day. He said that, under the memorandum, the university will provide scholarships to the needy families nominated by the association, in addition to providing various training courses and lectures to the association within the community service program.

For her part, Ms. Asma announced that the association will provide psychological and social counseling to university students when needed.
