UAQU Concludes its 3rd International Scientific Conference

December 14, 2022, Umm Al Quwain University concluded the 3rd International Scientific Conference “Digital Technology from Rooting to Innovation" Higher Education Institutions and the Future of the Arab Labor Market” which was organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, with more than 80 participants and attendees representing Arab and international universities and research centers from the UAE and 20 other countries. 
 
Prof. Dr. Galal Hatem, Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University and Chairman of the Conference, expressed in his speech at the closing session his happiness and pride in the success of the conference due to the strong scientific participation and discussions over two consecutive days, stressing that all the conference recommendations will be submitted to His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.
Dr. Hatem said that the conference was a result of the university's belief in the inevitability of digital technology in improving higher education institutions, in light of the new changes, and the impact they make on the individual and the development of his skills, which leads to creating an innovative climate and compatibility with labor market needs. He announced that it had been decided that November 21-22, 2023 would be the date for the fourth International Scientific Conference of Umm Al Quwain University.
Prof. Hatem spoke about the completion of engineering and information technology programs and the readiness to submit them to the Commission of Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Education.

At the end of the session, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fayyad, Chairman of the Conference Preparatory Committee, reviewed the final statement, stressing that the conference recommendations are a real opportunity to contribute to structural changes in education systems in line with technological development and compatible with the needs and requirements of the Arab labor market.
