Umm Al Quwain University and RAK Modern Private School signed a memorandum of understanding aiming to enhance cooperation between the two parties, in the educational, social and cultural fields. The memorandum was signed by Prof. Galal Hatem, the University chancellor, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohammad Ali Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, General Supervisor of Ras Al Khaimah Modern Private School.

Dr. Galal Hatem said that the memorandum includes the preparation of joint scientific and cultural activities at both Umm Al Quwain University and Ras Al Khaimah Private School, such as seminars and national celebrations, as well as the exchange of scientific and administrative expertise and publications issued by both sides.

Dr. Hatem added that the purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to develop and maintain the relationship between the two parties, as that relationship is based on common interests between the university and schools in order to provide educational opportunities for students of Ras Al Khaimah Modern Private Schools (Al Dhait/Khuzam).

He stated that under the memorandum, creative skills and innovations will be supported through positive participation, exchanging knowledge, experiences, information and studies related to the field of both parties, exchanging services and joint work to improve performance, supporting initiatives for continuous development of educational and training curricula and programs, and joint promotion of events of each party and cooperation to ensure inviting interested specialists to attend conferences, lectures, etc.
