Umm Al Quwain University Honors Outstanding Cybersecurity Students During the College of Computer Science Orientation Day.

As part of Umm Al Quwain University’s commitment to supporting student excellence and strengthening the integration of academic knowledge with practical application, the College of Computer Science organized its Orientation Day for new students, attended by Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, along with members of the academic and administrative staff and students of the College.

The event included the honoring by Dr. Hani Bakr, Vice Chancellor of the University, of all teams and students from the Cybersecurity Program who represented the University in various competitions, exhibitions, and conferences, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and achievements. The students’ participation was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Mohammed Khalaf, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at the College of Computer Science, as part of the College’s efforts to provide an inspiring educational environment that supports innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, while enabling students to apply their knowledge and skills through practical projects and competitive participation that enhance their academic and professional capabilities.

This recognition reflects the University administration’s commitment to celebrating students’ achievements and encouraging them to actively participate in competitions, exhibitions, and academic and innovation events. Such participation contributes to refining their skills, developing their creative abilities, gaining practical experience that enhances their readiness for the labor market, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and representing the University honorably at various events.
