Master of Arbitration

The Master of Arbitration Program is one of the leading specialized programs in the UAE, combining theoretical study and practical application to prepare legal professionals capable of resolving commercial, maritime, sports, and oil disputes in modern and effective ways, aligned with the latest national and international standards and legislation.

The program provides comprehensive knowledge and advanced skills in arbitration, qualifying students to excel in resolving commercial, civil, administrative, maritime, oil, and sports disputes at both national and international levels.

The Master of Arbitration is a pioneering legal specialisation that addresses actual labor market needs, given the increasing reliance on arbitration as a primary method for dispute resolution beyond the complexities of traditional courts. The program offers in-depth study on arbitration agreements and procedures, legal frameworks for arbitration centers, enforcement of national and international arbitration awards, arbitrator liability, and supervision of arbitration processes, fully aligned with local and international laws.

Students are also offered specialised knowledge in arbitration related to oil and gas contracts, administrative contracts, maritime disputes, and sports law, equipping them with extensive practical experience and professional negotiation and dispute management skills.

Practical experience is emphasised through hands-on training, mock arbitration hearings, and analysis of court and international arbitration rulings, enabling students to understand real-world challenges and formulate suitable legal solutions.

The Master of Arbitration program primarily aims to prepare legal professionals to keep pace with modern dispute resolution developments and reinforcing the UAE’s position as a regional and global arbitration hub. Graduates are empowered to integrate academic and practical expertise, opening opportunities to work as certified arbitrators, legal consultants, or academic researchers.

This program is essential to keep pace with legal and economic developments, meet local, regional, and international labor market requirements, and uphold justice and enhancing confidence in the UAE’s business and investment environment.
