The 3rd International Scientific Conference of Umm Al Quwain University, entitled "Digital Technology from Rooting to Innovation - Higher Education Institutions and the Future of Arab Labor Market” starts on Tuesday, December 13 and runs for two days.
More than 70 researchers from various Arab countries, Western and Asian countries, are participating in the conference, presenting dozens of scientific papers, covering the themes of the conference, which include Communication and Media, Law, Arts and Sciences and Business Administration.
Prof. Dr. Galal Hatem, University Chancellor, said that the conference takes place between development prospects and contemporary challenges on Umm Al Quwain University Campus. The importance of holding the conference comes after the great success of the first and second conferences, as well as coinciding with the launch of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Umm Al Quwain Sustainable Blue Economy Strategy 2031 at the World Government Summit last March.
Dr. Hatem added the conference also comes within the framework of the university’s colleges to obtain international accreditation from prestigious international institutions
The conference aims to establish advanced bases in building and investing digital technology to serve humanity and achieve the maximum possible benefit in promoting sustainable development programs, activating academic programs in higher education institutions and linking them to modern digital technology according to advanced methodological controls, and identifying solid foundations and rules capable to distinguish digital technology related to serving development programs, innovation, and opening channels of knowledge exchange between higher education and institutions of Arab labor market to identify qualifications and outcomes that enhance creativity and innovation. The conference also aims to publish specialized papers related to its themes to expand interest and inspire new ideas that support the development and innovation project in order to keep pace with the digital revolution.
